Suspect charged in Ewa stabbing death

Tittleman Fauatea, 25, has been charged with murder in the second degree in the stabbing death of Asa Yamashita at the Ewa Town Center on Friday.

He is being held on $500,000 bail and is scheduled to make his initial appearance in District Court tomorrow at 8:30 a.m.

Yamashita, a 43-year-old mother of two daughters, was sitting on a concrete bench outside the Lovely Nails salon at the shopping center when Fauatea allegedly stabbed her repeatedly, according to a police affidavit.
