Connecticut is back to No. 1 in The Associated Press' college basketball poll after dropping to No. 2 for a week.

The Huskies had been No. 1 for three weeks until losing to Pittsburgh. They replaced the Panthers on top Monday, receiving 67 first-place votes from the 72-member national media panel.

North Carolina moved from fourth to second and was No. 1 on three ballots. Pittsburgh fell to No. 3. The Panthers lost to Providence one day after regaining the top ranking last week.

Oklahoma dropped one place to fourth, while Memphis, Louisville and Duke remained fifth through seventh.

Michigan State moved up one place to eighth. Kansas jumped from 15th to ninth and Wake Forest moved from 13th to round out the top 10.
