University of Hawai'i outfielder Tanisha Milca was named the Western Athletic Conference softball player of the week, the conference office announced today.

Milca led the Rainbow Wahine to the Bank of Hawai'i Invitational title with six hits in eight at-bats, including her first grand slam.

The home run was the 26th of her career, putting her in sixth place in school history.

Nevada's pitcher Mallary Darby was named pitcher of the week after a 3-0 record.
