Tomorrow is the deadline for O'ahu residents to register for disaster assistance related to the Dec. 10-16 storms and flooding.

"While there are a lot of O'ahu residents who have registered, we feel there may be more that need to apply," said Ed Teixeira, state coordinating officer. "Even if you have already made repairs and think you might not qualify, applying is the only way to find out if you're eligible for assistance."

The deadline to apply is 6 p.m. tomorrow by calling the Federal Emergency Management Agency at 1 800 621-3362 or 1 800 621-7585 for the speech impaired. Online registration is available until midnight tomorrow at www.disasterassistance.gov.
