Silent march Tuesday in remembrance of stabbing victim

Advertiser Staff

The Hawaii State Coalition Against Domestic Violence will hold a silent march Tuesday in Honolulu in remembrance of Fredlynn Hoapili, who was stabbed to death March 3 in her home in Lihu'e, Kaua'i.

The march will begin at 5:30 p.m. in front of the State Capitol and is intended to honor Hoapili and also to bring attention to the issue of violence against women.

Hoapili's husband, Joseph, is charged with second-degree murder in connection with his wife's death. He is being held in lieu of $500,000 bail.
