Multi-car accident on Likelike leaves 3 injured

Three people were injured in a three-car accident in a town-bound lane of Likelike Highway near Wilson Street last night.

The accident, which happened around 6:45 p.m., occurred when a car was rear-ended by a van, which in turn was struck by another vehicle, according to the Honolulu Fire Department.

A man and woman, both in their 30s, from the first vehicle complained of neck and back pain and were taken to Tripler Army Medical Center.

The driver of the van, a 58-year-old man, was taken to The Queen's Medical Center with neck and lower-back pain.

The driver of the third vehicle was not injured.
