Molokai panel to discuss Kawela Bay issues

Kaunakakai – Robert H. Richmond, Ph.D., research professor, Kewalo Marine Laboratory, will discuss "ridge-to-reef" stewardship of Kawela watershed and bay during a meeting of the Governor's Moloka'i Community Advisory Council at 3 p.m. Tuesday , March 17 at the Kulana O'iwi, DHHL / OHA Conference Room, 600 Maunaloa Hwy. in Kaunakakai.

The meeting is open to the public.

The Moloka'i Community Advisory Council holds public meetings on the third Tuesday of each month to seek community input and advise the governor on important issues on Moloka'i. The Council also recommends potential nominees for state boards and commissions.

The members of the governor's Moloka'i Community Advisory Council are Robert Granger, Janice Kalanihuia, Jersula Manaba, and Marlene Purdy.
