Kauai police seeking suspect in robbery of Lihue gas station

LIHUE — Kauai police are asking for the public's help in finding a man who robbed the Lihue Chevron station on Rice St. last Wednesday.

The man was wearing a mask when he reportedly entered the station at 12:37 a.m., pushed the cashier aside and took an undisclosed amount of cash from the cash register. He then fled on foot.

The suspect is between 5 feet 10 and 6 feet 1 and weighs between 175 pounds and 200 pounds.

At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a black beanie, blue jeans and a long-sleeve white shirt.
