At 11 a.m. today in Hale Kuhina, Room 115 on the Windward Community College campus, Architects Hawaii LEED specialist Glen Yokotake will present "Green Library — Silver Standard." The discussion will focus on how the firm is incorporating sustainable features in a new Library Learning Commons facility design for Windward Community College that will achieve LEED certification with a silver rating. Yokotake will also share ideas for green home renovation and practices of sustainability for homeowners.
