Pualeilani Festival of the Arts held tomorrow

The Pualeilani Festival of the Arts will be held from noon to 6 p.m. tomorrow at the Royal Hawaiian Center in Waikiki.

The celebration in the Royal Grove honors Prince Jonah Kalanianiole Piikoi and Princess Elizabeth Kahanu Kaauwai, who lived at Pualeilani in Waikiki.

The festival includes feather and flower lei making, pandanus and coconut leaf weaving, poi pounding and bamboo nose flute making.

In addition, entertainment includes:

Noon: Pua Alii Ilima, Kumu Hula Vicky Holt Takamine

1 p.m.: Kawika Trask & Friends

2 p.m.: Ka Pa Hula o ka Lei Hulu Hiwa, Kumu Hula Jack McKeague

3 p.m.: Kealoha Kalama Trio

4 p.m.: Aaron Mahi, George Kuo & Martin Pahinui

5 p.m.: Ku'uipo Kumukahi & the Hawaiian Music Hall of Fame Serenaders
