"The Biggest Little Airshow on Ford Island" took off today at Pacific Aviation Museum Pearl Harbor as remote control enthusiasts from The Birds of Paradise showed off their 1:5 scale planes for the crowd.

The event also offered tours of the Restoration Hangar and its helicopters and fighter planes, a chance to fly combat simulators, win helicopter rides and more.

The show featured 1:5 scale motorized flyable models of military aircraft dating from WWII to the present.
