The Honolulu Police Department is seeking witnesses to an apparent hit-and-run yesterday on Ke'eaumoku Street, in which a bicyclist was run over by a passing vehicle.

At 2:05 p.m. the cyclist, a 38-year-old Pearl City man, was traveling south in the right-most lane of Ke'eaumoku, near Kanunu Street, when he was struck from behind and run over by a vehicle described as a white SUV or pick-up truck with extended cab.

The vehicle continued south without stopping.

The cyclist suffered a broken arm.

Witnesses are asked to call the Traffic Division at 529-3499.
