Freshman Stephanie Ricketts came within an out of pitching her second no-hitter in as many days, settling for a one-hitter in Hawai'i's 4-0 victory over Louisiana Tech yesterday in a Western Athletic Conference softball game at Ruston, La.

The only hit she allowed was Kylie Bassett's single up the middle with two outs in the bottom of the seventh. LaTech's (13-13, 1-2) only other base runner was Amberly Waits, who was hit by a pitch with two outs in the fifth.

Audrey Andrade hit a solo homer and Dara Pagaduan hit two doubles and scored two runs for the 'Bows, who won the series 2-1 and complete their road trip today against Grambling State.
