High surf advisory continues

A High Surf Advisory remains in effect for all east facing shores, according to the National Weather Service.

Surf along east facing shores will be 5 to 8 feet and residents and visitors should take precautions while there.

Surf heights will hold at current levels through early tomorrow then increase as new swells arrive.

The advisory will remain in effect until 6 a.m. Friday.

A High Surf Advisory means that high surf will affect beaches, producing rip currents and beach erosion
