Mini recycling drive for Kailua

Schools in the Kalaheo and Kailua complexes are hosting their first combined recycling drive from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 4 at Kailua Intermediate School.

The recycling drive is a mini event and items accepted are limited.

Residents can drop off Hi-5 bottles and cans, cell phones, printer cartridges, printers, scanners, telephone books, magazines, batteries, laptop, LCD monitors, computers (limit one per household), old athletic shoes (no metal cleats), used clothing, household items, and used eye glasses and hearing aids.

No green waste, tires, grease or scrap metal will be accepted.
