KAILUA
Kalaheo, Kailua schools hold combined recycling drive

Schools in the Kalaheo and Kailua complexes are hosting their first combined recycling drive from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 4 at Kailua Intermediate School.

Residents can drop off HI-5¢ bottles and cans, cell phones, printer cartridges, printers, scanners, telephone books, magazines, batteries, laptop, LCD monitors, computers (limit one per household), old athletic shoes (no metal cleats), used clothing, household items, and used eye glasses and hearing aids.

No green waste, tires, grease or scrap metal will be accepted.
