NBA: Hornets' Chandler out another 1-2 weeks with sore ankle

Associated Press

NEW ORLEANS — New Orleans Hornets center Tyson Chandler is expected to sit out for another one to two weeks because of a sore left ankle.

Team officials said on Friday that Chandler had been fitted with a medical walking boot. He is expected to wear it from seven to 14 days.

Chandler already has missed four games since his left ankle began to bother him again. It has sidelined him for about a month earlier this season

Chandler has played 44 games this season, averaging 8.8 points and 8.8 rebounds.
