The Honolulu Symphony's annual Beethoven Festival kicks off at 8 p.m. tomorrow with maestro Andreas Delfs conducting the symphony, along with guest pianist John O'Conor, in the always majestic Eroica Symphony.

Also known as Beethoven's Third Symphony, Eroica took classical symphonic music to a different level.

The Beethoven fest continues through this weekend and next weekend with three additional Beethoven concerts: The Violin Concerto at 4 p.m. Sunday, Beethoven's Fifth at 8 p.m. April 4 and the Pastoral Symphony at 4 p.m. April 5.

All shows are scheduled to take place at the Blaisdell Concert Hall.
