BLUE PLANET FOUNDATION

Gary Gill, former environmental director for the state of Hawai'i and former chairman of the Honolulu City Council, has joined the Blue Planet Foundation as its program director. He will develop and implement the foundation's conservation, energy efficiency and community engagement activities.

STORSECURE SELF-STORAGE

Glenn Magpoc has been named director of outside marketing and sales at StorSecure Self-Storage.

BANK OF HAWAII

Margaret "Peg" Meagher of Bank of Hawaii has been promoted from senior vice president of corporate compliance to executive vice president. She will oversee all bank compliance activities.

AMERICAN SAVINGS BANK

American Savings Bank has promoted Terence Yeh to executive vice president, chief credit officer. He joined the bank in 1998 as vice president, corporate banking officer.

CENTRAL PACIFIC HOMELOANS

Gay McPhail has returned to Central Pacific HomeLoans as vice president, private lending. She most recently was an executive loan officer with Bank of Hawaii.

Honolulu law firm Goodsill Anderson Quinn & Stifel has announced the promotion of Dawn Sugihara from associate to partner in the firm's litigation group. She has handled product liability, premises liability, medical malpractice claims and business disputes, including disputes involving tax-exempt organizations.
