Disneynature to plant tree for every person who sees 'Earth'

Advertiser Staff

Disney is taking a unique approach to introducing its first film under its new Disneynature label. For every person who sees "Earth" during the first week when it premieres April 22, a tree will be planted.

"'EARTH' features several scenes from Hawai'i related to the humpback whales and their migration from Alaska.

"The film gives moviegoers an entertaining and unprecedented view of our planet, with some of the most astonishing imagery and exciting natural drama ever presented on the big screen," Dick Cook, chairman of The Walt Disney Studios, stated in a news release.

The film is narrated by James Earl Jones and tells the story of three animal families and their amazing journeys across the planet we call home.

Tickets are now on sale for opening weekend. Tickets are available through the film's website at www.disney.com/earth and via phone at 1-888-DISNEY6.
