The Honolulu Theatre for Youth has figured out how to turn the roughly 130-word "Goodnight Moon" into a musical. Featuring music and lyrics by Chad Henry, the show premiered April 17 and continues Saturdays at 4:30 p.m. through May 16 at Tenney Theatre on the St. Andrew's Cathedral grounds.

The soothing rhyme is still the theme, but while Grandma rocks and mittens dry, bears in furry tuxes do some tap-dancing and the cow jumps over the moon as a three-ring circus act. Tickets are $16 for adults and $8 for children, college students with ID and seniors age 60 and over. Active-duty military receive one free child admission with each regularly priced adult ticket.
