Here are opportunities for families to have fun, all for the benefit of two schools:

ST. FRANCIS SCHOOL 'OHANA FAIR

10 a.m.-6 p.m. today

St. Francis School campus and parking lots, 2707 Pamoa Road in Honolulu.

The fair features Xtreme Fun rides, pony rides, a petting zoo, games, a farmers market, a silent auction and the Franciscan Sisters' Country Store. Proceeds will answer funding requests from a variety of departments, from athletics to languages to music.

HO'ALA SCHOOL'S THIRD ANNUAL BENEFIT LU'AU

5-9 p.m. today

Ho'ala School's elementary campus auditorium, 1067-A California Ave., Wahiawa

Admission: $25 for adults; $15 for seniors 65 and older, children 12 and younger

This year's event, "Ho'ala Hou!" (A New Awakening!), includes catered Hawaiian food, a silent auction, bouncers and entertainment by King Pins, Ho'ala Taiko Drummers and more. Proceeds from the event will support consolidating the school's two campuses by this summer.
