Food Network magazine rates Hukilau Cafe's loco moco 'Best Hawaii Burger'
The June-July Food Network magazine, on news stands tomorrow, lists the loco moco at Hukilau Cafe in La'ie as the best burger in the state.
The article, "50 Burgers 50 States" searched for "the most exciting, interesting, wacky or otherwise fabulous burger in every state, with the aid of food critics and writers.
The Hukilau, a small, out-of-the-way, family-owned restaurant in the rural neighborhood, is a favorite of North Shore and Windward O'ahu residents, as well as visitor who are tuned into local food.
