'Ukulele virtuoso Jake Shimabukuro is going global this summer with tour stops scheduled in Stockholm, Sweden; Pori, Finland; Nice, France; and San Sebastian as well as Brazil.

All stops will be his first time performing in those countries, said Mitch Berry of Hitchhike Records. Shimabukuro, who has four concerts in Hawai'i starting Aug. 16, is currently touring on the Mainland and will spend most of three months — August, September and October — performing in Japan.

His current tour is to promote his latest album "Live," released in mid-April.
