Hawaii surf: Down a bit today on north, west shores

Advertiser Staff

Surf along the north-facing shores of O'ahu was expected to drop over night, and will likely be 6 to 9 feet today, the National Weather Service said.

Elsewhere on Oahu today, expect surf of 3 to 6 feet along west-facing shores; 1 to 3 feet along east-facing shores; and 2 feet or less along south-facing shores.

Outlook through Sunday, May 10: The current northwest swell will slowly decrease through Friday.

Surf along south-facing shores will be on an upward trend beginning Wednesday, though surf will remain small to moderate through Saturday.
