A.M. Best Co. has reaffirmed DTRIC Insurance Co. Ltd.'s "A-" financial strength rating and its issuer credit rating of "a-".

The agency said the ratings reflected DTRIC's improvement in capitalization, well-established agency relationships and stable claim experience. In addition, A.M. Best called attention to the financial support from Aioi Insurance Co., a Japanese-based insurer that is DTRIC's majority owner.
