Search continues for missing woman, 63

Firefighters and police yesterday continued the search for a 63-year-old woman reported missing Sunday afternoon.

Fire Capt. Terry Seelig said personnel were searching the area near the top of Waimano Home Road for Gail Yoshida. She was last seen about 3 p.m. Sunday as she left home to walk her dog. She is known to walk her dog in the area of Pearl City High School, police said.

Yoshida is described as 5 feet 4 and 125 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. She was wearing a green long-sleeve sweater, blue shorts and a red and blue baseball cap.
