Driver in single-vehicle crash was killed by a heart attack
Hawai'i County police said a 70-year-old motorist involved in a one-vehicle crash Saturday on Kawaihae Road died of heart attack.
An autopsy conducted yesterday indicated that Peter Gusman of Waimea did not die from injuries sustained in the wreck, police said. Gusman's 1998 Ford F-150 pickup truck was traveling west when it ran off the right side of the road around 1:25 p.m.
