Tuesday, May 5: In honor of Cinco De Mayo, we started off our celebration at 4:45 a.m., packing the shuttle bus and heading to the airport for a 7 a.m. flight to San Francisco.

While waiting to board the plane, teammate Kanani Pu'u-Warren had started our "road-trip funnies" by sending out a prank text to all of the girls saying that we had a 3-hour study hall as soon as we got on the plane.

This caused a panic to some girls because on our previous road trip we had a 3-hour study hall on the plane.

Our flight to San Francisco was a little ahead of schedule, and, of course, being in the San Francisco airport, half of the team went to Boudin's for a good old fashion clam chowder bread bowl.

We got our luggage, and started our 3 1/2-hour bus ride to Fresno.

When we got to the hotel, I was so tired, and all I wanted to do was curl up into my comfy bed and go to sleep. But that would have to wait until later because we had to get ready for a practice at Bulldog Diamond.

I was really impressed with our team because we had just traveled all day and yet came out sharp and ready to go.

We did some defensive drills, then got a lot of cuts in during batting practice. We then were off to find a Mexican restaurant to finish off the festivities of Cinco De Mayo.

After driving around for 20 minutes, we finally found Alberto's Mexican Restaurant. Let's just say it was an amazingly long day!

Well, now I'm off to finish my paper and get some well-needed rest for the activities tomorrow.

Aloha.
