Hawaii surf: North swell to taper off after today

Advertiser Staff

Surf of 3 to 6 feet is expected along Oahu's North Shore today.

In other areas, look for surf of 1 to 3 feet along south-facing shores, 2 to 5 feet along west-facing shores and 1 to 3 feet along east-facing shores, according to the National Weather Service.

Outlook through Tuesday, May 12: The current northwest swell will continue through today, then drop off quickly. A small south swell is expected to arrive Friday night then linger through Monday.
