Hawaii surf: 3-5 feet expected later on south shores

Surf along Oahu's south-facing shores is on the way up and should be will be 1 to 3 feet throughout the day today, rising to 3 to 5 feet tonight, the National Weather Service said.

Elsewhere, look for surf of 2 to 4 feet along north-facing shores, 2 feet or less along west-facing shores and 1 to 3 feet along east-facing shores.

Outlook through Wednesday, May 13: No significant swells are expected.
