Childcare provider to serve families in 'Ewa, Kapolei

Hunt Development Group and Kama'aina Kids have signed a lease to open a Kama'aina Kids facility in Kalaeloa.

Kama'aina Kids began accepting students on Monday.

The nearly 9,000-square-foot preschool facility sits on a 1.88-acre lot and was formerly owned and run by the Navy. The parcel was part of more than 499 acres that Ford Island Ventures took over from the Navy last year. Hunt Development is developing the entire property for Ford Island Ventures.

The facility is expected to serve families from 'Ewa to Kapolei with infant, toddler and preschool programs.
