If you grow a garden or know someone who does, grab your camera and take some photos this weekend.

Scenic Hawaii, the Friends of the Halawa Xeriscape Garden and other community groups are sponsoring the Betty Crocker landscape awards and encouraging local residents to enter their favorite gardens for consideration in four categories.

In addition to photos, you'll have to write a brief piece on why you're nominating the garden, who maintains it, and include contact information such as phone numbers and e-mail addresses.
