Multi-disciplinary artist Keo Woolford is taking the stage at Hawai'i Theatre tonight for a one-man show that weaves together traditional hula, hip-hop, Hawaiian-style "talk story" and spoken word.

Woolford, a member of Halau Na Kamalei, was born and raised in Hawai'i and has danced in Merrie Monarch, performed with Hawai'i boy band Brownskin and starred in "The King & I" at the London Palladium, as well as in other shows in New York. He is a prolific songwriter, and tonight's "I LAND" performance is his second one-man show.

"I LAND" tracks Woolford's search for the meaning of heritage in a journey that takes him to places both sacred and kitschy, with stops at backyard parties and hotel showrooms, and gives the audience a glimpse into the life of a pop star and stage actor.
