Meet candidate Robert J. Jones

 •  Some find fault in search for UH president

University of Hawai'i students, faculty, staff and the community are encouraged to attend forums next week to meet the second of two presidential finalists.

Robert J. Jones, the senior vice president for system administration for the University of Minnesota, will attend campus forums tomorrow, Tuesday and Wednesday.

Jones is the University of Minnesota System's academic and administrative officer. His biography and resume are available at www.hawaii.edu/president.

He will at available at the following forums:

• 4:30 p.m. tomorrow at UH-Manoa's Architecture Auditorium

• 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at Kaua'i Community College's Campus Center Cafeteria

• 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Maui Community College's Pilinia Multipurpose Room

• 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at UH-Hilo's Hale Kehau Dining Room

The other finalist — M.R.C. Greenwood, chancellor of the University of California-Santa Cruz — attended similar forums last week at UH campuses on O'ahu, Kaua'i, Maui and the Big Island.
