Air Force holding meeting on plan to build Bellows cabins

The Air Force will hold a public information meeting to discuss proposed new cabins at Bellows Air Force Station from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Army National Guard Training Center Auditorium at Bellows.

Entrance is through Akepono Gate located next to the Waimanalo Shopping Center, beginning at 5:30 p.m.

The Air Force is proposing to build up to 16 new cabins on an old landing strip on the base at a cost of about $5.3 million.

The meeting will start with a 30 minute tour of the project site. Transportation will be provided.

Comments forms will be provided.

Bring valid government picture identification, such ad a driver's license.
