Hawaii Opera Theatre moves offices to Beretainia Street

Advertiser Staff

Hawaii Opera Theatre has moved its box office and administrative offices to a new location at 848 South Beretania Street.

The Beretania Street building, which was given to the the non-profit arts company several year ago, was renamed “Hawaii Opera Plaza” during a recent dedication and blessing ceremony.
The old location on Waimanu Street in Kakaako needed a new roof and many other upgrades, said Karen Tiller, HOT Executive Director.
“It was the ideal time for us to make a move that would not only support the staff with more professional resources, but still made sound financial sense. It’s a wonderful new beginning for our 50th Anniversary Season.”
