Fab Five autograph session during car show

The University of Hawai'i's Fabulous Five basketball team of the early 1970s will gather for an autograph session from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday at Mike McKenna's Windward Ford.

Bob Nash, Al Davis, John Penebacker, Dwight Holiday and Jerome Freeman also will be selling a DVD, with a portion of the proceeds of the sales going to Ronald McDonald House.

The session is part of the Mustang Madness All-Ford Car Show, which is from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the 725 Kailua Road dealership. Davis, a forward on the team, helped organize the reunion. He's been part of McKenna's Windward Ford sales team for the past six years. For information, contact 266-7000.

HONOLULU TRIATHLON SUNDAY AROUND TOWN

The sixth annual Honolulu Triathlon, featuring a 1,500-meter swim, followed by a 25-mile bike and a 6.2-mile run, will be held Sunday, starting 6 a.m. at Ala Moana Beach Park.

The bike course will be held on the Makai side of Ala Moana Boulevard from Ala Moana Beach Park, and head 'Ewa bound to Nimitz under the viaduct then past the airport to the turnaround at the intersection just before the Arizona Memorial. The bike returns on Nimitz, onto Lagoon Drive to the end, and then back to Nimitz/Ala Moana and to Ala Moana Beach Park.

Ala Moana/Nimitz road closure could start as early as 4 a.m. Total road opening will be around 9:30 a.m. Participants are must finish by 11:30 a.m.

LACROSSE SEASON FINALE AT UH ON SUNDAY

Aloha Youth Lacrosse will hold its final games of the season Sunday at the University of Hawai'i's Clarence T.C. Ching Athletic Complex.

Youth Division competitions will run from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Girls high school finals is at 11:30 a.m. and boys final games will be from 1 to 4:30 p.m.

The high school championship at 3 p.m. will match Iolani Raiders (7-1) against Wolfpac (6-1-1).
