The University of Hawaii and Army have agreed to play a four-game home-and-home football series starting in 2010.

UH will play at West Point, N.Y., Sept. 11, 2010. The teams also will play in Hawaii Nov. 30, 2013, at West Point Sept. 15, 2018, and at Hawaii Nov. 30, 2019.
Army is coached by UH player and coach Rich Ellerson.
“We’re very pleased to have this home and home arrangement with Army put in place,” UH athletic director Jim Donovan said. “With Rich Ellerson being a former UH football player and now head coach at Army, it adds even more to this series besides the fact that its an academy school and those programs always draw well in Hawai‘i. I’m glad we were able to get it done and we’re looking forward to some great games.”
