'ILIMA TIME

VOTE FOR YOUR FAVORITE PRE/POST-THEATER SPOT

The Honolulu Advertiser's annual restaurant awards, the 'Ilima Awards, a benefit for Diamond Head Theatre, are getting a kick start this year. In addition to the public voting period, June 14 to July 15 (more information later), Diamond Head Theatre is seeking votes now from its theater-goers in three categories: Best before- or after-show spots for cocktails/pupu, for a quick dinner, and for dessert, and best special occasion anytime restaurant. The winning restaurants will be honored at the annual 'Ilima Awards gala on Oct. 12. The ballots are included in the playbill for Diamond Head Theatre's current production, "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels," playing through May 31; call Diamond Head Theatre for tickets to the show: 733-0274. 'Ilima tickets: 733-0277.
