LOS ANGELES — Sarah Jessica Parker says she's concerned for the safety and well-being of the surrogate mother carrying twins for Parker and husband Matthew Broderick.

The 44-year-old "Sex and the City" star told "Access Hollywood" in an interview that aired yesterday that the attention has led to an invasion of the woman's privacy. Parker said she worries about her "and the safe delivery of our children."

Parker said the surrogate's phone and computer have been hacked into, and that the woman, her family and her friends have received threats.

Parker and Broderick have a 6-year-old son, James.

RUMORS OF SWAYZE'S DEATH QUASHED

Patrick Swayze, 56, is alive and doing well, so his representative tells www.People.com in response to rumors on the Twitter microblogging network that the "Beast" star, who is battling pancreatic cancer, died yesterday in Los Angeles.

"This is to confirm that Patrick Swayze did not pass away this morning, contrary to severely reckless reports stemming from a radio station in Jacksonville, Fla.," said Annett Wolf. "Patrick Swayze is alive, well, and is enjoying his life and he continues to respond to treatment."

'DOG' CHAPMAN'S QUARRY CRASHES, FLEES

Police in Colorado said yesterday a driver being followed by bounty hunter Duane "Dog" Chapman during filming for his reality TV show was involved in a rollover crash.

It's not clear whether anyone was hurt.

Colorado Springs police said Chapman's daughter called them to say the man was trapped inside the vehicle early yesterday. But police said the man got out of the car, ran away and hasn't been found.

Chapman is the star of A&E's "Dog the Bounty Hunter." Authorities say he and a television crew were pursuing a man wanted for failure to appear on a narcotics charge.
