Police seek public's help in finding shooting suspect

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are asking for the public's help in finding a man wanted in connection with a May 14 shooting in the University of Hawai'i area.

Police are looking for Tariq Holloway, 19, who is a suspect in the attempted murder case. Police said Holloway and another person got into an argument in a car at about 8:10 p.m. May 14, and that Holloway allegedly shot the other person twice.

Holloway was described as 5-feet-10, 140 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Police said he frequents the Waikiki and Downtown areas.

Police said Holloway may be armed and should be considered dangerous.
