WAC Baseball tournament - 6. Nevada Wolf Pack

VS. OTHERS: 3-1 at Louisiana Tech; 2-2 vs. New Mexico State; 2-2 at Fresno State; 1-3 vs. Sacramento State; 0-4 at San Jose State.

PLAYERS TO WATCH: OF Nick Melino (.357, 15 doubles, 4 HRs, 37 RBIs), 1B Shaun Kort (.325, 14 doubles, 4 HRs, 41 runs, 60 RBIs), INF/C Tyson Jaquez (.316, 5 HRs, 41 RBIs), OF Westley Moss (.300, 45 runs, 14 steals), OF Matt Bowman (.294, 20 doubles, 10 HRs, 31 RBIs), LHP Brock Stassi (6-4, 6.66), RHP Derek Achelpohl (4-5, 4.52).
OUTLOOK: Was vying for the top seed several weeks ago, but dropped nine of their last 10 with the big blow being ousted Sacramento State taking 3 of 4 in Reno. The Wolf Pack ended the regular season getting swept at San Jose State. Ironically, they meet in the tournament opener.
