The first annual Hawaii Wiener Derby will be held at the Hawaiian Humane Society’s Canine Game Day, which runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Thomas Square.
The family- and dog-friendly event will include pet costume contests and other competitions, as well as an agility course. There will also be food, games and keiki activities. Dog owners can check out product demonstrations and those hoping to adopt a dog can meet some of the Hawaiian Humane Society’s dogs waiting for owners.
