OCEANFEST: Maui Ocean Center's OceanFest swims into view 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on June 6 and 14, with entertainment, exhibitions, cooking demonstrations and the film "A Sea Change." www.mauioceancenter.com.

In addition, Maui Ocean Center will screen "A Sea Change" on World Ocean Day, June 8, as will marine centers around the world. The film will be shown throughout the day in the park (included with aquarium admission) to focus public attention on the crisis of ocean acidification. The movie follows retired educator and concerned grandfather Sven Huseby back to ancestral sites (Norway, Alaska, the Pacific Northwest) where he finds the latest ocean research under way. The film will also be shown on June 6, 14 and 23. On June 6 and 14, the film will be shown throughout the day during OceanFest and included with park admission.
