Waikiki Health Center will kick off a fundraiser June 1 for its back-to-school campaign.

Shoppers at Longs Drugs stores statewide can make $1, $5 and $10 donations to the effort at checkout lines.

The campaign will help provide health services to needy children.

Proceeds will help pay for physicals, immunizations and general medical care throughout the year.

The campaign is co-sponsored by Longs Drugs and health insurer UHA. The campaign runs through June 30.
