'Aloha Shorts' — Hawaii vs. Mainland

Advertiser Staff

Bamboo Ridge authors, actors and musicians will get together for an 'Aloha Shorts' radio show taping with live readings and music about whether to stay in Hawaii or go to the Mainland.

As summer vacation, graduations and the high cost of living making some Hawaii residents wonder where to live, the Bamboo Ridge writers are focusing on the advantages of living in Hawaii over the Mainand, or vice versa.

The taping starts at 7 p.m. at Hawaii Public Radio's Atherton Studio, with 'house band' Hemajang offering preshow entertainment at 6:45 p.m.

Admission is free, reservations are highly recommended. Call 955-8821 weekdays between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. for more information or to reserve a seat.
