Domestic abuse suspect sought on Big Island

Big Island police are asking for the public's help in locating a man wanted on suspicion of abuse of a family or household member.

Thirty-year-old Andrew Tale Pale has no permanent address. Pale is described as 5-foot-9, about 220 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

Shortly after 10:30 p.m. on March 6, patrol officers from the North Kohala District responded to a report of abuse. The victim reported being struck repeatedly by her boyfriend, who left the area before officers arrived.

His whereabouts are unknown.

Police ask that anyone with information on Pale's location call the Police Department's non-emergency line at 935-3311. Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona. All Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.
