Lions Club to hold annual Father's Day Pancake Breakfast fundraiser

Advertiser Staff

The Hawaii Kai Lions Club will serve up more than 3,500 pancake breakfasts on Father's day, June 21, to raise funds for it's projects.

The pancake breakfast has been a mainstay of the club's fund raising efforts for 36 years. Money raised from the effort goes to pay for community projects like the vision and testing program for pre-schoolers, painting and repair projects in East Honolulu schools and the Junior Police Officers programs.
The breakfast is from 6:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. June 21 at Kaiser High School cafeteria at 500 Lunalilo Home Road. Tickets are still only $6 and can be purchased at the door.
Take out or eat-in service is available. Anyone wanting tickets should call Scott Sakata at 228-4916.
The Lions Club meets on the first and third Thursday of every month at 7 p.m at the Lunalilo Home. For more information on the club go to www.hawaiikailions.org.
