Kapalua Farms, a division of Maui Land & Pineaple Co., said it has received organic certification of its vegetable and herb operation by the Hawaiçi Organic Farmers Association.

Located in West Maui on 188 acres of certified organic agriculture-zoned land, Kapalua Farms is comprised of Kapalua Gold and Kapalua Emerald organic pineapple production, an organic produce and herb farm, tropical fruits orchard, pasture-raised egg layer operation and a compost park.
The farm supplies resort restaurants and island-wide grocery and natural food stores with certified organic produce and all-natural eggs.
HOFA is accredited by the United States Department of Agriculture to confer organic certification. The diversified farming operation in West Maui lies at the heart of Maui Land & Pineapple Company’s organic agricultural programs. With the addition of the diversified farm to the certified organic pineapple operation, Kapalua Farms is now one of the largest organic farms in the state.
